"Legend of the North Sea" - a mysterious legend which belongs only to Adelaide of the North Sea, was circulating for years in the world of sailors and navy. It was their faith, their spiritual ballast, and the power that keeps everyone survive in this vast ocean.

Before it was taken over by the Swan dynasty (the predecessor of "the Empire of Ring"), the Sea of Altas was full of killing and looting. Pirates, siren haunted from time to time. Merchant ships and tourists had already been panic-stricken before landing, and most of them had to take a detour.

The appearance of the ship "Andrea Ghost" rewrote the history of this ocean. The crew was different from ordinary reckless pirates. They were capable and brutal, but disciplined and well-trained as soldiers with clear mind. The various forces of this ocean were beaten by them gradually.

Carlos, the captain of Andrea Ghost, was known by everyone in the Atlas.
Because of his dazzling white hair, he was called "Atlas silver wolf" by sailors and pirates. And he became a legendary figure in the history of the continent of Adelaide.

326 years before the Empire era, during which he lost his right leg, Carlos defeated the legendary siren. Then He became the supremacy of Atlas waters. In order to commemorate the glorious record, Carlos made an artificial leg with siren's magical teeth.

314 years before the Empire era, the growing Swan dynasty was attending to attack the pirates for the expansion of the sea area. However, Nair and Carlos become the Swan dynasty's big trouble. The dynasty's attack was no progress when facing Nair and Carlos's co-ordination of intelligence and force.

However, No one knew why Nair and Carlos became enemies Almost Overnight.
And no one knew the reason why those partners forgot their past friendship as well.
Some people say that their relationship is over because of disagreements.
"They were broken up just for the love of the mermaid" - the poets with romantic notions said so. Rumors was going around, but no one knew the truth.

Soon after, Nair held a large-scale reorganization with his followers.
He secretly won over the hostile forces of Carlos for himself, started a mutiny.

The best partners became each other's strongest opponents. Nair and Carlos fought for seven days and nights aboard. Final Nair was defeated, and he was never seen again.
Carlos lost his left eye due to the exhaustion of the battle.
As the wounds of hatred for him, Carlos said this scar would never heal.

Four years later, Swan dynasty developed a variety of military and economic strength, and launched fire towards Atlas area again.

Carlos was not surprised for the dynasty's military power, but for a hidden wise man who guided the battle. The man knew clearly about the pirate's strategy and combat routines.
At the disadvantage of lacking supplies and soldiers, pirates retreated and losing their ground.

When Carlos was helpless, Swan dynasty again issued capitulate information to Carlos. This time Carlos could not ignore the information because the letter signed by "the missing silver fox".
When Nair was defeated, he surrendered himself to the dynasty for his revenge. He got great attention and became the Supreme Commander to execute the task - Destroying pirates.
His capitulating also called back the dynasty's desire to dominate the ocean.

Nair rectified the army, issued a letter of challenge. His final battle with Carlos was coming. The old comrades met again, fighting for their own honor. The best friends became the strongest enemies to each other.

At the beginning of the war, due to the lack of supply, the pirates were exhausted. Nair and Carlos had one-on-one duel in each other's warships.

When Nair was about to beat his opponent, a mysterious empire army showed up. The army opened fire on it Nair and Carlos' ship madly.
Carlos and Nair left their ships before their enmities drawn to an end.

Using Nair's power, Swan dynasty eliminated Carlos and his pirates. In order to keep away from controlled by neither Carlos nor Nair, the dynasty attacked their ships when Nair and Carlos were in their final duel.

After the war, Nair and Carlos's bodies had not been found. Since then, a brand new history of Atlas began. Swan dynasty took over the Atlas, dominated the continent of Adelaide, and officially changed dynasty's name to "the Empire of Ring".
